Leather patches are excellent for premium hats and outdoor brands. Embroidered patches give a classic sportswear look. Woven patches work well for detailed brand marks.

Many hat patches fit between 2 and 3.5 inches wide, depending on the hat style and placement. Front panels, side panels, and beanie cuffs all have different available space.
Application
Sew-on backing gives the strongest result. Heat application may work on some caps, but stitching is often safer for curved and structured hats.
